Remote alarm receive centres are the new growth area in Greece.

Cubitech-Hellas MD Nikos Kalafatis outlined the benefits, technology and feasibility of implementing remote monitoring for CCTV images at Electronica ’03, Greece’s biggest electronics and security exhibition last week.

Remote alarm receive centres and monitoring centres enable hundreds of premises to be cost-effectively monitored simultaneously, irrespective of where they are located geographically. "This is a growth area in Greece. Centres will appeal to larger enterprises with branches nationwide who need an integrated security system, as well as to smaller customers who want to expand their businesses without losing control" said MD Nikos Kalafatis.
