How many many CubisNXL models are there?
There are 2 CubisNXL models, one with 4 camera inputs and one with 8 camera inputs.
What storage space is available in CubisNXL models?
CubisNXL models are available with 500GB storage space.
Can CubisNXL support audio?
Yes. CubisNXL support 2 audio channels.
Can I see live footage in my phone?
Yes, both Pocket PC and Windows Mobile powered Smartphone are supported.
Can the system support PTZ cameras?
The software can support PTZ cameras but you have to optionally buy the PTZ - 485 adaptor.
Does CubisNXL has a composite Video Output?
No. CubisNXL comes with only the VGA output.

How many Digital I/O a CubisNX system has by default?
There are 4 inputs and 4 outputs. Solutions up to 16 inputs/outputs can be provided.
Do CubisNXR models have internal Multiplexer/Switcher?
CubisNXR models have only internal Realtime multiplexer, fully configurable and controllable by software.
What is the internal Video Multiplexer and Video Switcher available in CubisNX models?
Every CubisNX model comes with 2 x BNC video outputs that produce uncompressed video output from the cameras. One is a multiplexer fully configurable and controlable from software and the other is a switcher of available cameras again fully controlable by software.
Where can I see the output from the multiplexer/switcher?
The output is BNC composite thus you can use a CCTV monitor, Plasma or LCD TV or even transmit it as a channel in your TV set.
Does the system support audio?
Yes. Both storage and transmission even on mobile phones using GPRS.
How many audio channels are there by default?
There are 2 audio channels by default easily expandable to 16 channels
Can the system support PTZ caneras?
Yes. The system includes a RS-485 interface required to support PTZ cameras with PELCO-D protocol.
Which languages does the system support?
Currently there are 2 languages supported English and Greek. We will provide support to any language for free, just ask.
How many users can be connected remotely at the same time in a multiuser system?
There is no hard limit on how many users can be connected in a multiuser system. The only limit is set by hardware and network connection. In a LAN more than 100 users can be connected at the same time before system performance in hit.
What is the difference between CubisNX and NXR models?
CubisNX models are designed to balance the need for long term storage (where 25fps/camera is not required) and unparallel picture quality. In contrast NXR models are designed where fast moving scene detail is required for further examination. NXR models offer 25fps/camera on every camera that is transmission, Video analysis, display and storage. Additionaly CubisNX models come up to 32 camera inputs while NXR models up to 16 camera inputs. Please find a complete comparison table here.
What is the maximum storage space I can get in CubisNX models?
All systems shipped with preconfigured HDD according to the cameras used. Larger capacity systems are available per order basis and can go up to 6TB. Please contact us for a quote or further information.

You can record up to a total of 400ips with the CubisNXR 16ch system.

Is the CubisCLIENT compatible with Windows Vista?
Yes. The CubisCLIENT is fully compatible with Windows Vista operating system.

Software upgrade
All systems connected to CCSS receive all latest software upgrades.
Can I connect my alarm system with CCSS
Yes. Your alarm system can be connected to CubisNX system and if an alarm signal is triggered the CubisNX system will send the events of the cameras verified to the CCSS. You also have the ability to connect external contacts to CubisNX system and control any desired scenarios.
How can I connect to the Central Station
To connect to CCSS and view or download any event you will need authorization by Cubitech Hellas.
How do a get notified of an event
If CCSS receivers a signal from your system, it has the capability of sending an e-mail or SMS with the video event attached and full report of the camera that triggered the alarm.
Advantage of CMS
In case of an event, your system will transfer all video and audio data from the verified cameras to CCSS. The advantage In this case is that even if your system gets sabotaged or stolen all evidence (video clips) are saved to the Central Station.
How does it work
Your CubisNX system is connected to Cubitech Central Station Server (CCSS) via your ADSL line. In case of an event the Central Station will receive and save all data (video clips, audio) transferred from your system.
