A simple step by step Wizard that guides the installing engineer in setting up a Cubis system with an Internet connection (static or dynamic) for transmitting video over the web. The strongest point is that the Wizard actually makes all necessary tests to ensure that the NVR system is transmitting images without the need for the engineer to make remote requests to the system - Monitoring of Hard Disk Failure
HDD drives inside CubisNX-H.264 systems are constantly monitored and if a failure is detected the system instantly sends out an alarm to selected destinations (CubisCENTRAL, security officer, end user) - Built-in RS-485 for controlling PTZ-PT-ZOOM cameras
Almost every major PTZ controlling protocol is supported by CubisNX-H.264 systems e.g. Pelco D-P, Sensormatic, Panasonic, TEV etc. Its incorporated RS-485 controller is connected via UTP to the camera’s controlling mechanism - On-board Digital I/O card for controlling external devices by TTL pulses
All CubisNX-H.264 systems offer the installing engineer the ability to setup triggering from external devices (burglar alarm, sensors etc) and also control devices like flood lights, sirens, strobes etc. This is achieved with the on-board Digital I/O board, which comes standard on all models

- How many cameras can a CubisNX-H.264 take?
There are two CubisNX-H.264 models. One for 16 cameras and one for 32 cameras. - What is the recording speed for each channel?
CubisNX-H.264 systems are based on a hardware compression platform, thus you should expect 25fps per channel on PAL - Can I mount the CubisNX-H.264 on a rack?
All CubisNX-H.264 systems are rack mountable. 16 camera systems are 2U and 32 camera systems are 4U. - How many TV-Outs are on the system
The systems, apart from the VGA, include a TV-out. More TV-Outs, up to 3 can be build in custome made systems. - Can I ask for the system to be build on specification?
CubisNX-H.264 systems are designed to be build on specification for project biding. There are many points both on hardware and software that can be customised for specific use. HDD capacity can be increased up to 9TB of storage with Raid Controller and build-in redandancy. Also Multiple TV-Outs can be programmed according to customer needs. - Can the software also be customised?
Yes. We provide a very long set of features, included by default in the software but we always aim to incorporate customer feedback and extend the capabilities and feature set of the systems. - Is there a watchdog function?
Yes. All of are systems are designed to operate continuesly without interaptions or reboots. It is normal to expect an uptime of more than 6 months at a time.
