CubisNX Software
Unified Software for all CubisNX Systems
CubisNX software has an intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI) with advanced features and capabilities. Its architecture provides the end-user with matchless performance, flexibility, scalability and most of all, ease of use.By design, CubisNX software provides a single unified user experience either connected locally on the systems or from a remote location.
The User Interface is common to all CubisNX products, thus minimizing the learning curve required to familiarize with the operation and control of the various systems.
Using the ability to integrate with other systems, such us Access Control and Burglar Alarm, CubisNX software also acts a unified platform, enabling the system designer to build complex and advanced solutions with native Video support.
Additionally system operators can perform a variety of tasks using the different subsystems with great ease.
Intuitive User Interface
CubisNX has a well-designed user interface that allows users to easily access all of the system’s functions. Even the most demanding tasks, such as multiple camera exports from remote sites, are only a few clicks away, allowing users to concentrate on what really matters, surveillance.
Live Pause / Instant Replay
Live video can be paused to closely examine a scene. As users view Live video footage, with a simple click they can pause the actual footage and from this point on, treat it as recorded footage. This Time-Shift functionality seamlessly integrates live viewing with archived footage.
Advanced PTZ Controls
Click-n-Follow function gives the ability to the user to point a PTZ camera at a selected object with a simple click. If the object moves in the scene, the user can follow it by simply clicking the object repeatedly. This simplifies controlling the PTZ cameras, especially over low bandwidth connections.
Select-n-Zoom function enables the user to select an area in the scene and the camera will center and zoom into this area. This functionality is especially important for guards, giving them the ability to position a PTZ camera in a desired area in a matter of seconds, with a simple mouse command. CubisNX software also allows the user to enter and remotely adjust the PTZ OSD menu.
Multiple Camera Export - Direct-to-DVD
Exporting and archiving video footage can be done easily to a variety of media formats including the built-in DVD-RW burner, which comes as a standard on all our CubisNX models. For incident retention and distribution, users can burn multiple copies of the same footage from within the same interface without the need for external software or devices.
Advanced Video Motion Detection settings
All CubisNX systems include advanced VMD. Users can set the area on the camera view to apply Video Motion Detection, set the sensitivity of the detection as well as the size of the object (in pixels) to be considered as movement. Time (in seconds) of an object remaining in the picture can also be set to avoid false activation of VMD e.g. a flying bird.
System Status Check
CubisNX systems use advanced algorithms to constantly monitor recording status and Disk performance. If, for any reason, a camera connected to a CubisNX system fails to record Video for a predefined time or if there is a Hard Disk error preventing the system from recording footage, the built-in buzzer sounds locally, while any remotely connected user is notified. CubisNX software can also send email/SMS to authorized users informing them of the system fault that has occurred.
Dynamic HDD Storage Setup
Dynamic Storage Setup allows system managers to easily control the allocated storage space for each camera. This is quite useful when there may be certain cameras installed in “high sensitivity” areas. These cameras can be assigned a larger part of the storage in order to store footage for longer periods, have higher recording resolutions etc. The system manager can even change the storage size assigned to a certain camera while the system is in operation.
Internet Connection Wizard – Dynamic IP support
The built-in Connection Wizard enables the installing engineer to easily and correctly setup the CubisNX system with connectivity over the internet. It works in two phases: creation and configuration of the internet connection, including the DynamicDNS service for supporting dynamic IP addresses; and verification that footage from the installed system can be viewed remotely. The wizard performs all the necessary configurations and checks automatically.
Transmission Quality Adjustment on-the-fly
This function allows the user to increase transmission speed, wherever it is necessary, by changing the quality of transmitted video footage on-the-fly. This function does not influence the quality of the video recorded locally on the system’s HDD.
Mobile phone transmission
Our CubisNX Mobile software is a fully functional interface for smart phones and PDAs allowing connections to multiple sites, search for recorded footage, and excellent support of audio transmission. All these from bandwidths as low as GPRS up to 3G/UMTS. Users can also control Digital Input/output contacts (Turn On/Off lights, Open/Close Doors, etc). CubisNX systems support video transmission to WindowsMobile smartphones and PDAs, as well as Apple’s popular iPhone and iPad.
Two-way Audio Support
CubisNX software supports the transmission and recording of multiple audio streams per system in Sync with transmitted video. Great results can be achieved from bandwidths as low as GPRS. Apart from audio transmission, CubisNX systems support Two-way Audio. The system offers this ability through any remote client for users with the right privileges and a microphone.
