CubisCENTRAL

Centralized Monitoring Software

Our CubisCENTRAL Monitoring Software is a sophisticated centralized video management system with a pioneering user-friendly GUI. It allows the Central Stations to offer a variety of services to their clients and at the same time to reduce the costs associated with monitoring video footage by keeping common operator actions simple and even automated.

Alarm Response Engine

Our event-driven philosophy allows operators to handle incoming events with the outmost efficiency. The Alarm Response engine built into every CubisNX system accepts events from 6 major categories:

  1. Video loss
  2. Motion Detection
  3. D I/O trigger
  4. System Status
  5. Scheduled Video Patrol
  6. Access Control and/or Burglar Alarm

These events are then checked against user defined response scenarios, analyzed and those matching are transmitted to the Central Station. In this way false alarms are minimized and overall efficiency of the operators is increased. With a simple mouse click, operators have access to multi-sites monitoring, alarm notifications and customized Electronic patrol events from multiple locations. Additionally, systems health status and Disk Failure algorithms notify the central stations of any discrepancy.

Event Driven Parallel Storage
In case of an alarm the end-user may be notified of the incident via Email/SMS sent from the Monitoring Centre while the event from the remote site is transmitted and recorded on network storage in the CubisCENTRAL for safe keeping of the recorded evidence (end customer, police, etc).

Visual Verification
If the user determines an alarm, the Police and Security Patrol Guard are immediately notified and potentially guided to an arrest.

Two-way audio
With the two-way audio function the agent at the Central Station can listen in on what’s going on at the premises. At the same time, voice instructions and deterrents can be transmitted from the operator of the Central Station to the site under surveillance.

  • Full Configuration and Control of Remote Sites
  • Parallel Storage of Video events from the Remote Sites to CubisCENTRAL
  • Control of System Status and System Connectivity
  • Receive video alarm from the response engine and create custom E-patrols at specified times
  • Operators may add comments to video events
  • Directly export Video events on protected permanent storage
  • DVD burn video events for sending evidence to End-User or police
  • Categorize received alarms per site (All / Acknowledge / Immediate)
  • View all cameras from site that has sent an alarm

BENEFITS FOR CENTRAL STATION AND CUSTOMERS:

  • Lower costs through centralized management (fewer guards, etc)
  • Remote guarding / monitoring
  • Video events immediately available on the Central Station
  • Secure off-site storage of video events in case the local server is vandalized or completely destroyed
  • Integration with Access Control system offers additional service to the customers
  • Visual verifications of alarms before dispatching police/guards (save cost on false alarms)
  • Complete control of System Status (video loss, server health, etc)
  • Increase revenue streams by offering more services to clients
  • Event-driven alarms increase agent-to-remote site ratio
  • Quick response on True Alarms
  • Video events can be sent to customers via email / SMS (with video attached)

Documentation
How many connections can I have to the CubisCENTRAL?
The Central Station Software can support hundrend of sites for event driven parallel storage and notification.
What kind of alarms the system can handle?
The system can handle alarms from 6 different categories:
  • Video loss
  • Motion Detection
  • D I/O trigger
  • System Status
  • Scheduled Video Patrol
  • Access Control and/or Burglar Alarm
Does it integrate with only CubisNX systems?
Currently only alarms from CubisNX systems are supported. Working is underway to support IP cameras from a range of manufacturers and selected standalone DVR systems.

Does the system include a failover in case of a fail in the Central site?
CubisCENTRAL follows the Client-Server architecture of the rest of our systems. Agents in the Central Station connect to the monitoring server via IP network and need not be in the same room with the equipment. At the same time, all alarm data are transmitted to the Central Station via TCP/IP networks allowing the build of redandancy at the infrastructure level.

I have a secondary Central Station to accept the failover from the main Central site. Do I have to configure all CubisNX system to the failover site?
No. Only the DNS name of the Central Site needs to be changed to point to the failover site.

Most of my customers have standalone DVR recorders. Can I support them on the CubisCENTRAL platform?
We build CubisCENTRAL to be tightly integrated with CubisNX series. Most of the functionallity we provide is only possible with such a system. At the moment we are pursuing a support for some selected H.264 standalone DVR's and we have finished support for BOSCH IP cameras.
